Pre-Release Community Tests (ADempiere 3.8)
In preparation for the next stable Release of ADempiere 3.8, it is necessary to Review the Bugs-/ Features included in the new Version
- Start: 3rd April 2014
- End: 30th April 2014
- ADempiere Test Server with ADempiere nightly Build (sponsored by Nickel Networks)
- Lastest Build Version for Download (Link TBD). This is the tip of the release/380rc1 on the sourceforge repository.
- Nightly Build WebUI. The nightly build can now be tested on two servers:
- Postgres: http://postgres.adempiere.io
- Oracle: http://oracle.adempiere.io (Not fully configured yet.)
- Sahi Test Script Generation
- To make tests repeatable, it would be great if you provide a sahi script. Further info about sahi can be found in this wiki, for example here: ADempiere Testing with Sahi

- Code review

Step by Step
- Visit the bug tracker and create an account if you don't have one already https://adempiere.atlassian.net
- Select a feature from Release of ADempiere 3.8 and test it AND/OR visit the Release 380LTS Test Plan to document test cases and results.
- Add issues to the bug tracker as you discover them.
- Keep the Release 380LTS Test Plan status up-to-date as you go.
