Purpose
We in the ADempiere project clearly understand that an ERP is not a technical solution but applied to a business case. As a result we know that the ADempiere Project cannot be successful if the application suite are not implemented by businesses succesfully and effectively providing business owners excellent returns on their investment of time, effort and fees.
Process of BDC
For the above reason, the ADempiere project created the Business Development Committee, formed among members with extensive business experience in implementing ERP solutions worldwide and with a charter totally focused on offering quality service for those prospects requesting such services. You can consider the BDC as a very large virtual consulting house where, when a request is received, pre-qualify to map to capabilities of local ADempiere service providers and provides this information to the prospects for their consideration.
Closed Meetings
We can schedule a pre-arranged closed meet if particularly requested by a prospect. Please send email to any of the members listed below if you do so wishes for such an online meeting. We usually use skype voice conference. Such meetings are for
- Learning more closely of the prospect's needs and the suitably of ADempiere to meet them
- The gaps that may exist in the prospect's case and
- How best to address those gaps and issues
Such meetings are considered closed and no people data or private information are published unless allowed by the prospect. There is also no obligation on any party in such meetings.
Open Meetings
The BDC has its own open meets every Wednesday. The time based on the attendees timezone. Our virtual venue also varies depending on the need but normally can be via the irc channel or skype.
