This is a small hint for everybody that spent time on customizing documents not able to figure out why the number and date formatting does not work as they expected.

'''Since Libero is no longer developed in trunk you need to build it manual from it's svn directory. '''

The important hint is to know that the formatting is not linked to the client or organisation but to the business partner that is used in the document. So if you for instance want to generate an invoice with german settings (date=DD.MM.YYYY) you set the language of the business partner to german. Furthermore you may define custom formats within the record for the german language that is then automatically used within the invoice.

Since Libero is no longer developed in trunk you need to build it manual from it's svn directory.

You need trunk:

 http://adempiere.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/adempiere/trunk

and Libero sources:

 http://adempiere.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/adempiere/branches/libero

Now build ADempiere out of Eclipse using the build.xml file in utils_dev directory:

Build using xml.jpg

Now you should have ADempiere .tar and .zip file.

Export Libero

Export Libero.jpg

Export Libero2.jpg

Export libero.png

Or you can use .jardesc file for export. It contains the information what should be exported.

Jardesc export.png

Export message.png

Show JAR.png

Now copy the packages.jar file onto a \packages\libero\lib directory in your adempiere home deployment dir and run RUN_setup.sh and install ADempiere.

The last step you need entry to ADempiere with System User and enable Libero Model Validator
