Congrats

Hi Voila, just to say congratulations on such a fine work you publish here Equinox Integration. Hope to meet you in Berlin this June! - Red1 22:05, 21 March 2009 (PDT)

Got your message. Yes, that is correct to pass notes to each other. By the way do u know how to sign off so that your name and timestamp auto-appears? just type ~~~~ (4 tiddles), and use 3 tiddles if just your name. - Red1
And yes, newbies can achieve great things, just because they contributed! - Red1 07:14, 25 March 2009 (PDT)

Site link to your work

Voila, I changed the www.adempiere.org link to the Equinox Integration instead of your user page because its meant to be that way - showing each person's work. When ppl mouse over your name they see why you are hightlited due to your contribution. On clicking the contribution also they see your user link page. Hope you understand the arrangement. Btw, i got your msg and find it strange that i can master something simple but you prefer to master something complex like OSGI! I hope to see u in Berlin - Red1 06:21, 18 April 2009 (PDT)

My Progress with ADempiere/Equinox Integration 2

  • Thanks Joerg for the single project issue. Now its solved after removing .project in main and plugins do appear.
  • However i have osgi and eclipse dependency errors in base folder and elsewhere. Reading up equinox eclipse site for clues. - red1 19:29, 28 April 2010 (PDT)
    • Did you pick up /equinox-target as your eclipse target platform as described here? viola 03:10, 29 April 2010 (PDT)
I believe i did repeatedly. Somehow my Eclipse cannot see the org.eclipse.core and org.osgi jars for this to work. I also followed some online advice to check the Dependency tab. In fact removing the eclipse jar from there reduced the errors a bit! Will keep trying. This is fun! :) - red1 16:02, 29 April 2010 (PDT)
  • It must feel good after a marathon. I envy you! -- Some progress here. Will try to proceed with the InvoicePosting example regardless of failed build. - red1 16:43, 2 May 2010 (PDT)
    • At the Equinox_Integration_2/Tutorial_Extension_Point i went all the way to the step where i suppose to pull out the code into the plugin. Where exactly do i put the code? In the new plugin i see only an Activator.java. I create a new post() there? Sorry for such a lowly query :| - red1 07:11, 3 May 2010 (PDT)
